Governor delivers 50 units for urban and foreign transport in Sinaloa

The units will serve users in the cities of Culiacán, Mazatlán, Guasave and Los Mochis

Culiacán.- In its third stage, the state government delivered 50 transport units for the cities of Culiacán, Mazatlán, Guasave and Los Mochis.

There will be 30 Mercedez Benz trucks equipped with air conditioning and 20 Mercedez Benz Sprinter units destined for the foreign service.

The renovation of the public transport park has been strategic for the state government, said, Governor Quirino Ordaz Coppel.

The main characteristic of the new units delivered to the concessionaires is that they are sustainable and friendly to the environment by producing zero emissions of pollutants.

The issue of social inclusion, he said, is part of the axes to provide a better service to citizens, specifically for people with disabilities and that through adapted units will be mobilized in a better way to users who present this need.

Around 200 trucks have already been delivered throughout Sinaloa with the unit renovation program, an effort that has been possible thanks to the dealers Ordaz Coppel said.

The total investment of the state government, by way of down payment has been 39 million pesos. “The renovation of units is important to provide a better public transport service in Sinaloa, with zero polluting emiosiones”.
