Mazatlan.- The works in the embellishment to the central median of the southern entrance of Mazatlán present a 75% advance, informed Luis Antonio González Olague.
The Director of Municipal Public Services assured that it will be in the middle of next week when this project is concluded.
“We’re doing pretty well, I think we’re easily 75% complete (…) thanks to the technology that supports us, we are moving fast enough, with them (retro-exhausters) we can make the replacement of new earth lama fast and efficient,” he said.
The total area of work is 2 thousand 250 square meters, with a length of 450 meters, and this is the improvement of sidewalks, pedestrian crossings, replacement of land by earth lama, lawn planting and ornamental plants.
Currently there are thirty workers who every day work from seven in the morning until eight at night, with the same objective to show a good view to the tourists who arrive at the port through the south access.
“If the sun has been a bit strong and with a lot of work, but we are here to give a good view of the port of Mazatlan, so that tourists come and feel comfortable,” said José Mario, a worker in the area.
