Members of the National Chamber of Commerce of the State of Durango made an invitation to the Sinaloans to their Night Marathon with Cause, because all proceeds will be donated to the State Cancer Center focused on the area of Pediatrics.
Mauricio Olguín Herrera, president of Canaco Durango, reported that the sports fair is expected to gather a little over 1,200 runners who will tour the city at night on July 27 at 9:00 p.m.
There will be three races, one of 2.5 kilometers, another of 5 and the maximum of 10 kilometers, in which participants can enjoy the Historic Center, which has a good image, it is illuminated and families can walk or jog if they want
“This is the seventh edition with cause, because last year 150 thousand pesos were collected and donated to the Cancer Center, we hope this year to overcome this mark,” Olguín Herrera said.
He added that nowadays Durango has a good occupation, thanks to the twinning with Mazatlan and three hotels have just been inaugurated and that is why it has the capacity to welcome visitors to the Canaco fair and the marathon.
This race joins the celebrations of the Canaco fair and for this reason it is of vital importance for tourists to get to know all the attractions of Durango such as the Cathedral, the Historical Center, the mining tunnel and others.
Olguín Herrera was accompanied at the press conference by Canaco leaders from Mazatlan and Sinaloa.
