Tourism falls 20% in Culiacan Sinaloa

The president of the Association of Hotels and Motels, Julio César Niebla Godoy, said that the economic recession has stopped various activities in regard to travel agencies and the tourist transport service

Culiacán, Sinaloa.- In the last four months, the economic recession, and the lack of investments in the capital city has paralyzed the different activities, especially tourism, which has fallen by 20 percent, said the President Julio César Niebla Godoy.

The President of the Association of Hotels and Motels in Culiacán explained that there have been few investments, which has seen little economic fluidity in the municipality.

“I do not know if it is at the national level, not just in the municipality, but we have felt little economic activity, especially the services sector in terms of tourist transport, accommodation and activity in travel agencies, because the congresses and different activities “, he emphasized.

Although they are unaware of the reasons why the economy does not flow, Niebla Godoy said that they continue to promote Culiacán in Mexico City, in the state of Nuevo León, Guanajuato and others because the city is a destination for doing business and not for vacationing.
