Potosinos businessmen regretted that the president of the Republic, Andrés Manuel López Obrador refuses to attend the inaugural event of the BMW plant in San Luis Potosí, scheduled for this next June 6 and warned that “With him or without him”, we will continue working.

In this regard, the president of the National Chamber of Commerce and Tourism Services (Canaco-Servytur), Alejandro Perez Rodriguez lamented that the president of Mexico Andrés Manuel López Obrador remains distanced from the private initiative and has opted not to attend the inauguration of the German company.

“The president is marking a line that really does not give good signals, in this case, the BMW company regardless of the importance it has for the potosinos, is also important at national and even international level, then it is sad and sad that President Andrés Manuel López Obrador is taking these types of actions, “he said.

He said the business sector will not stop and will continue to work with or without the support of the President of the Republic, so he hoped that the Governor of the State and the Secretary of Economic Development continue to push for new investments of the likes of BMW. .

“I know that the president was told that the first car built in San Luis Potosí by BMW was ready for him to go to the airport and he made the comment that he did not get into fifis cars, this is really regrettable” , he pointed.

The president of the Employers’ Confederation of the Mexican Republic (Coparmex), Jaime Chalita Zarur said that the impression that is had from that business chamber is that the president of Mexico, Andres Manuel López Obrador is shaping his own business and that the critical businessman, Advanced, which seeks balances, accountability and transparency is doing it aside.
