If you want to know Mazatlan and you are looking for a good place to see the most beautiful sunsets of the port, we recommend you to visit El Paseo del Centenario, which is behind the Colegio Pacífico, in Cerro del Vigía.
The Paseo del Centenario has existed since 1910 thanks to the president of the Improvement Council of Mazatlan Jorge G. Claussen, who during the centenary of the Independence of Mexico, was in charge of the management, design, layout and construction of several works that still survive, such as the Centennial Walks and Claussen Walk.
You can travel along this iconic place either by car or even walking, although for this you have to dare to climb steep slopes, since this road is usually full of curves and climbs.
This tour includes an amazing view of the sea of Mazatlan, accompanied by its incredible sunsets, stone stairs that go down slopes where you can see the nearest beach, you can take pictures, have access to small parking areas to be able to follow on foot and enjoy of what you find surrounded. And an extra tip: Do not forget to buy a delicious coconut to cool off in the afternoon.
