Garbage challenge unites the inhabitants of La Noria Sinaloa

“Sinaloense one hundred percent I am from the town of La Noria” … “Above the wheel my beloved town”, are some phrases of the song. 
And with that pride, inhabitants of the town located in the rural area of ​​Mazatlan, were united by a single challenge: cleanliness.

Very early they came out with plastic bags in hand and with other brooms and began the tour by distinguishing points of the town to collect all waste that was thrown.

Not only did they carry out this action in the streets, but also faith in the surroundings, because between the nickname of the hillsides it had accumulated from plastic, to glass and cardboard. 

At the end of the day they counted a total of 43 bags with the materials found, which was collected by the municipality’s staff. 
Teachers from the community also joined.
