Kidnapped children from the USA recovered in Mazatlan

Mazatlan, Sinaloa.- The Secretariat of Public Security of Sinaloa, in coordination with the Attorney General’s Office, managed to locate two minors of US nationality in the port of Mazatlan, who had a missing person report since last February. There are people arrested. In addition, a third minor was rescued that although he does not have an activated report, child does not belong to suspects.

Cristóbal Castañeda Camarillo, head of the Public Security Secretariat of the State, indicated that the children are Dylan and Maddison, who were included in the Amber Alert list of the United States on February 16, which states that their mother, Chrystal, 29, in the company of 38-year-old Lester, stole the children, they were found by authorities in Mazatlan.

The person in charge of security in the state explained that it was through the interinstitutional coordination of SSP Sinaloa through the State Preventive Police, in conjunction with the Attorney General of the Republic, the National Institute of Migration, DIF Sinaloa, and the department United States Marshals Service of Texas that undertook the location of minors in the downtown area of ​​the municipality of Mazatlan, which were in the company of the two adults.

After safeguarding the three infants, the two adults were placed at the disposal of the competent authority while responsibilities are defined.

With these actions, the Secretariat of Public Security of Sinaloa, headed by Cristóbal Castañeda Camarillo, continues with its commitment to provide security to society through coordinated work with various instances of security and justice.
