Mazatlán, Sinaloa – Before the arrival of thousands of tourists for the Carnival International celebrations of Mazatlan, the Tourist Assistance and Protection Center (CAPTA) ensures that it is ready to provide the necessary care, even in different languages .

“If they need any translation in English, in Portuguese, we are ready. We even have collaborators who support us with languages, we have people who speak languages ​​other than English for any situation; We have also supported them in the Italian, “said Astrid Macias Fregoso, director of CAPTA.

In addition to this, she explained that they have had good communication with other agencies such as the Public Prosecutor’s Office, the Prosecutor’s Office, Civil Protection, among others.

She even mentioned that the staff that will be close to tourists is trained in first aid. But she recognized that it is the Civil Protection elements who are more prepared, since they will have first-aid kits and razer units with ‘adapted’ stretchers in them.

Regarding the offices of the CAPTA, Macias Fregoso said that these may serve as a point to protect lost children and families can approach in case of looking for a missing child.
