With just under four years to go before the World Cup in Qatar 2022, the good news for Mexican fans is that they will not need a visa to enter the country.

The Qatari ambassador Mohamed Al Kuwari in Mexico announced in an event before media and personalities that Mexico, along with other 79 countries, is part of the group of those who do not need a visa to enter the country.

This World Cup will be held for the first time in winter due to the high temperatures that are registered in Qatar in summer, so from November 21 to December 18, 2022 will be played this World Cup, which aims to be respectful of the environment and full of technology.

Al Kuwari declared that his country is meeting the established deadlines, this event will have 8 stadiums where the farthest distance between these will be 55 km, while the shortest will be 5 kilometers, allowing the fans to enjoy several matches in a the same day.

These properties will have a capacity of 40,000 attendees up to 80,000. Currently there are 30,000 people working for this tournament, which already has a stadium built and operational.

Another point that the ambassador of the country organizing the 2022 World Cup in our country marked as important is that by 2022, the Doha airport will have more than 50 connections with international flights with all continents.

Mohamed Al Kuwari highlighted in conversation with Forbes Mexico that it will be the first world championship where green energy will be used, which guarantees the comfort of both players and spectators.

In a press conference a month ago, Qatar’s environment minister, Mohammed bin Abdullah al-Rumaihi, declared at a press conference that this event will be respectful to the planet. The goal is to have no carbon emissions by 2022.

This is in accordance with the guidelines set by FIFA in terms of respect for the environment.

Qatar-Mexico Cup 2019, an event to strengthen ties between countries

With the intention of strengthening ties between countries, Ambassador Mohamed Al Kuwari announced the creation of the Qatar-Mexico Cup 2019, which will be held between February 2 and 12, 2019, on the courts near the Azteca Stadium.

This kicks off the activities that the Qatar embassy has in mind in our country to promote the most important event in football until its celebration in 2022. This cup will have its final on February 12, National Qatari Sports Day .

This tournament will be made up of 10 teams from various political bodies in our country as well as educational institutions. The participants are; the Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of National Defense, Ministry of the Interior, Secretariat of the Navy, Miguel Hidalgo City Hall, Citizen Movement Deputies, Mayor of Azcapotzalco, the Embassy of Qatar and the National Polytechnic Institute.
