Girls, boys, and teenagers were most interested in being part of the great parade of “Equinox, the Rebirth of the Senses” Mazatlecos of all ages answered the call and auditioned to occupy a place of the 500 available to be part of the floats of the parades of the International Carnival of Mazatlan 2019.
A qualifying jury formed by Linda Lidia Chang Gutiérrez, Artistic Coordinator; Fabricio Valdez Castro, Choreographer; Ángel Rivera Zamudio, Choreographer; Gabriela Hernández Castellanos, Parade Coordinator; and Carlos Lizárraga Castro, Musicalization, were those who evaluated the qualities of the participants for more than three hours in the Casa Haas facilities.
The parades of the International Carnival of Mazatlan 2019 will take place on Sunday 03 and Tuesday, March 5, 30 floats and various musical platforms, not forgetting the traditional comparsas, will be part of this event that brings together more than 100 thousand attendees on the Malecon Port.
Gabriela Hernández, the Parade Coordinator, indicated that it was a very satisfactory response and a very difficult task to select those who met the requirements. From an early hour the interested parties gathered and in an orderly manner, they auditioned in small groups where they danced different rhythms and met with the jury.
The results will be announced on Friday, January 25, through the contacts provided in the registration form.
