In this context, Vivanuncios, in alliance with Legal Global Consulting, carried out the Magno Real Estate Event (MEI) in Baja California, which also has other venues such as Puebla, Monterrey, Guadalajara, CDMX, Querétaro, Cuernavaca, Toluca, and Cancún. In the framework of the presentation of the MEI in Tijuana, Gerberoff also announced that Baja California has the seventh place with the largest offer of online properties with more than 50 thousand: 73% for sale and 28% for rent. Mexico City, the State of Mexico, Monterrey, Jalisco, Querétaro, and Cancún are located in the first six places on the list. Patricia Cerezo, president of the Mexican Association of Real Estate Professionals (AMPI) , section Tijuana, said that the capital gain of the different properties in the state, has had a considerable increase so far this year because the city is a recipient of much people who migrate from other places because of their proximity to the United States.
The average cost of selling a two-bedroom apartment in Baja California is estimated at 21,085 pesos per square meter (m2), while the cost of buying a three-bedroom house of 169 m2 average, is located near the 14,950 pesos per m2.
