Baja California, 7th state with the largest real estate offer in Mexico


According to the registry of properties of Vivanuncios, real estate portal of eBay, the state of Baja California is located as one of the most important emerging markets in the sector, its wide offer ranks it as the seventh state with the highest real estate offer in Mexico.

In this context, Vivanunciosin alliance with Legal Global Consulting, carried out the Magno Real Estate Event (MEI) in Baja California, which also has other venues such as  Puebla, Monterrey, Guadalajara, CDMX, Querétaro, Cuernavaca, Toluca, and Cancún. He gave over 200 attendees knowledge in six main areas: personal branding, personal development, real estate training and coaching, digital tools, neurosales applied to the world of real estate and sales. The above,with the objective that companies and real estate consultants face market challenges with more and better tools.

“With this type of event we want the real estate companies in Mexico to start having the opportunities that professionals in this business have in other countries. Our commitment is to boost your professionalization. We are working hard with all the real estate associations in the country to get it, ” said Damián Gerberoff, Head of sales at Vivanuncios.

In the framework of the presentation of the MEI in Tijuana, Gerberoff also announced that Baja California has the seventh place with the largest offer of online properties with more than 50 thousand: 73% for sale and 28% for rent. Mexico City, the State of Mexico, Monterrey, Jalisco, Querétaro, and Cancún are located in the first six places on the list. The distribution of the housing offer in Baja California is divided as follows: 67% houses and 33 % departments.

Patricia Cerezo, president of the Mexican Association of Real Estate Professionals (AMPI) , section Tijuana, said that the capital gain of the different properties in the state, has had a considerable increase so far this year because the city is a recipient of much people who migrate from other places because of their proximity to the United States.

The average cost of selling a two-bedroom apartment in Baja California is estimated at 21,085 pesos per square meter (m2), while the cost of buying a three-bedroom house of 169 m2 average, is located near the 14,950 pesos per m2.
