Starting on August 21 there will be a new air route that will connect Istanbul, Turkey, with Mexico City and Cancun.
There will be three weekly flights, and the route will be Istanbul – Mexico City, and Mexico City – Cancun – Istanbul.
The flight Istanbul – Mexico City will depart on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays; while Mexico City – Cancun – Istanbul will depart on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
The airline that will operate this route is Turkish Airlines, which makes it the first airline in the Middle East to have a direct flight to Mexico.
The type of plane will fly on this route is a Boeing 787-8, known as the Dreamliner.
Through a statement, Turkish Airlines announced the schedules and dates of flights, so, for the moment there will only be flights until October 26, 2019; it is unknown if this route will be permanent.
