The law is very clear and if the transport unions affect third parties, they will be sanctioned without distinction, said Luis Guillermo Benítez
Mazatlan, Sinaloa.- Mayor Luis Guillermo Benítez Torres instructed the Secretary of Public Safety to stop the Red, Green or even Ecotaxis drivers, those of Atamsa at the moment of causing traffic chaos with their demonstrations or blockades.
The first mayor said that the Law is very clear, and if the transport unions affect third parties will be sanctioned without distinction, that line is what will be followed from now on.
“It is very clear to the Secretary of Public Security to stop offenders whoever they may be; reds, greens, yellows whatever they are, whoever is making an infraction of that type will have to be remanded to railing or where it has to be, that’s the line, “he threatened.
The municipal clarified that the conflict between the transporters is the responsibility of the Directorate of Roads and Transportation of the State Government, but if their blockages cause road chaos they will be arrested.
