The night of September 15 in Guayaquil, Ecuador receives the distinction

Mazatlán, Zona Trópico, Sinaloa, Mexico, a; September 18, 2018.- On September 15, the emblematic day for Mexicans, Mazatlan with its own light in Guayaquil, Ecuador, upon receiving from the World Travel Awards the award as: “Leading Destination of Mexico and Central America”.
That night, the best brands of tour operators from Central and South America convened by WTA Latin America were present at the ceremony.
It is gala night, red carpet among the winners was included Mazatlan, Mexico, which with its tropical neoclassical architecture and its paradisiacal beach, won the distinction of; “Leading Destination of Mexico and Central America”.
The ancient Inca city of Quito was not left behind in this close competition being named as the “leading destination of South America.”
The event was attended by hundreds of the leading figures from the travel and tourism industries of Central and South America, which was hosted by the historic Palacio de Cristal de Guayaquil.
In the act, Graham Cooke, founder, and president of World Travel Awards said: “Guayaquil has proven to be an incredible host of what has been an incredible night of triumph in travel, and a highlight of our 25th anniversary. I had the privilege of recognizing many of the main hotels, airlines and hospitality providers of destinations throughout Latin America, my congratulations to each one of them. ”
It is worth mentioning that that same night different categories that make up the tourist chain of Central and South America were awarded, and at the same time, the fourth section of the WTA Grand Tour 2018 was marked, a series of regional events to recognize the brands of most outstanding trips in the world.
Events on the tour include Ras al Khaimah (United Arab Emirates), Athens (Greece), Montego Bay (Jamaica), Hong Kong and Durban (South Africa).
It is noteworthy that the regional winners, such as Mazatlan, will advance to the 2018 Grand Final, which will be held in Lisbon (Portugal) on December 1, where our beloved Mazatlan will compete with:
