Fernando García Sais was born and raised in Mazatlán, Sinaloa. He comes from a family of bankers, lawyers, and doctors that settled down in “La Perla del Pacífico” over a century ago.
He graduated as a lawyer from Mexico City’s prestigious ITAM, and was honored a summa cum laude in the year 2001. In 2002 he moved to Barcelona, Spain, where he achieved the Doctorate in Patrimonial Law, at the University Pompeu Fabra.
Fernando has published several books, including “Derecho Concursal Mexicano“, and “Consumers’ Right to Information. An Approach to Misleading Advertising in Mexico,” both edited by Editorial Porrúa. His most recent book is called Derecho Notarial, Ensayos sobre Competencia, Consumidores y Ciudadanos, Editorial Tirant Lo Blanch, 2018.
And in 2015, after a long and productive professional trajectory, Fernando García Sais finally received from the Governor of the State of Sinaloa the appointment as Notary Public 210 to be exercised in Mazatlán, Sinaloa.
In January of 2016, his notary received the accreditation of the Better Business Bureau (BBB, Mexico), becoming the first public notary in all of Mexico in obtaining such recognition.
If you’re looking to buy property in Mazatlán, Notary 210 is most likely your best option to create a Trust (Fideicomiso-Land ownership legal documents).
