Between 10 and 15 charter buses per day arrive in Mazatlán during Holy Week

Mazatlán, Sin.- During this Holy Week between 10 and 15 charter trucks per day arrive in Mazatlán, all full of tourists from states such as Jalisco, Nayarit, Durango, Guanajuato and Mexico City.

These units are located in the parking lot in front of the Aquarium, waiting for visitors who come to enjoy the beaches and the main tourist attractions of the port.

“Only 22 people come on this bus, it is a family that comes in a group to enjoy Mazatlán, we come for three days, but there are more buses that arrive, on average between 10 and 15 per day, there are few that they leave the same day, around 3, almost all of them come all week,” said Mario Rodríguez, driver of a unit that arrived from Guanajuato.

He assures that many people who arrive on these buses pay for a package, which includes a tour of the city and different areas.

“It is not the first time that I have come to Mazatlán, I already know that I can park here and that’s it, many times there are few buses because people are visiting the places of interest in Mazatlán and the rural area, many families pay that package to save a little on transport, and we take care of taking them to the beach they want, leaving them at the Isla de la Piedra pier and returning for them”.

Other people came to stay for the entire Holy Week, while there are those who only come for three or four days.

“There are people who come to get even for what they are going to spend, they arrive on a Friday and leave on Easter Monday, I tell you why our entire fleet comes like this, we all leave until Easter Monday, there are others who come less time for work reasons, but it’s a constant arrival these days,” said Jorge Crespo, who drives from Guadalajara.

The buses that have arrived at the port this Holy Week are from Guadalajara, Guanajuato, Mérida, Sonora, San Luis Potosí and Morelia, among other states.
