Fifth Wine Festival already has a date in Mazatlán

Wine lovers will be able to experience a weekend full of learning and tasting by participating in the Northwest Wine Festival

MAZATLÁN.- Are you a wine lover? Well, it is time to get ready to learn a little more about this product that, without a doubt, always has something new to contribute for all those who are passionate about tasting this drink that unites the bonds of friendship between consumers.

Over the years, the port has managed to host great events and one that is here to stay was the Northwest Wine Festival, which will be celebrating its fifth edition on March 10 and 11 of this year, at the Art Museum of this city.

The programming of the Fifth Festival is coming up big and tickets to attend this event can already be obtained at different points of sale in the city. The event aims to publicize the wines of the participating wineries and that people could know their benefits both for health and learning to taste wine.

The great event will start on Friday, March 10 with the inauguration, at 11:00 a.m., followed by a conference called “Los Vinos de Jalisco”, given by José Miguel Vega Villalobos from Altos Norte Vinícola.

In the afternoon, at 4:00 p.m. there will be a conference by Sandra Domínguez, called “Luna y Mare”; an hour later, the Spanish Lucía García Alonso will give another conference “Vinícola Parvada”; At 6:00 p.m., Captain Óscar Obregón, from Tintos del Norte 32, will give another conference.

At 9:00 p.m., a harmonization dinner is planned among all the participants. The following day at 12:00 noon there will be a talk on the “Wines of Querétaro”, the work of Manuel Riestra. An hour later, the book “Wine and Law” by Dr. Óscar Cruz Barney will be presented.

The festival will continue with another talk given by Francisco Salazar, president of the Sonora A.C. Vitivinícola Association. At 5:00 p.m., the Guided Tasting of Omar Hernández León will take place, meanwhile, at 6:00 p.m., there will be a talk by winemaker Francisco Rodríguez González.

The closing will be with a bohemian evening for everyone, with the presence of the American tenor, Mauro Calderón in concert.

Tickets will cost $600 pesos for one day and $900 pesos for both, which you will have access to a courtesy drink, tastings, conferences, live music, and wine sales at cellar prices.
