Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- The work of reconstruction and modernization of Emilio Barragán avenue continues to advance, and the municipal government, through the Municipal Board of Potable Water and Sewerage of Mazatlán ( Jumapam ), has already made good progress in the placement of drinking water and drainage lines.
The new networks for the distribution of drinking water and the sewage system for wastewater are a fundamental part of the rescue project for this important road that connects the Mazatlan port area with the rest of the country.
The construction company in charge of the project, to speed up the placement of the new pipes, divided the road into three work fronts, achieving that this week the installation maneuvers were completed in two of them and in the next few days the last section will be completed, which goes from Constitución street to Miguel Alemán avenue.
The General Manager of Jumapam, Osbaldo López Angulo, commented that in addition to verifying that the main pipes are renewed, it is also supervised that the new drainage discharges and the household drinking water intakes of each house and property located on Emilio Avenue are placed. Barragán, to generate greater social welfare with this work.
