MAZATLAN.- Dr. Vagón has already arrived in Mazatlán and from March 2 to 5, you can attend, if you wish, to be attended to on health issues, but also if you want to have some fun.  

It is 500 meters long, divided into some 10 wagons, which travel the country with free medical services, from family planning, general medicine, and specialties such as pediatrics, gynecology, ophthalmology, nutrition, psychology, and others.  

Ricardo Reyes Díaz, medical manager of Grupo México and Dr. Vagón, explained that this would be route number 75, starting in Elota, passing through Mazatlán, and then going north through Guamúchil and ending in El Naranjo.  

“What we are looking for is to leave you with the complete treatment, we are not looking to leave them unfinished, if you have an infectious picture we give you the complete picture because the impact we are looking for is to improve the quality of life,” he declared.  

The idea, he said, is to deliver 500 cards per day, they are delivered in the morning, and they are scheduled for hours so that they do not wait so long in the place and thus, in one of the 17 wagons they can receive the attention they need. .  

All services are free, and even, in the afternoons, they offer performances in the movie car, where attendees live the experience as if they were in the place, they are given drinks and popcorn, for everyone’s entertainment.  

“Sinaloa has witnessed the growth of this program, when it was inaugurated in 2014, we were here for the first time, in fact the first community was Elota and right now we focus on the states where health services have unfortunately been destabilized,” he said. .  

From 2014 to date, Dr. Vagón has toured around 22 states, including Aguascalientes, Baja California, Chihuahua, Coahuila, Colima, Durango, State of Mexico, Zacatecas, Sonora, Sinaloa and others, which are equivalent to around 87 thousand 697 kilometers traveled.  

Among their data, they have reported more than 1 million 518 thousand 306 medical attentions in 377 thousand 697 people; They have delivered more than 500,000 medicines, in addition, after two years without working due to the pandemic, in their reactivation they apply Covid-19 tests and also have treatments for this.

The Cinemex company is in charge of the Vagón Cinema, where premiere films are shown but also, they make the attendees live the experience. In his report, there are more than 400 functions performed, with more than 80 thousand viewers.  

Dr. Vagón’s hours are from 6:00 am until the last person leaves. The cinema function starts at 6:00 p.m. every day that it is at the venue.
