In a night full of emotions, color and music, Ivana Matamoros was crowned as Queen of the Floral Games of the Mazatlan Carnival 2022, Lanao “The journey continues”. Thousands of people witnessed the coronation of the sovereign in the Teodoro Mariscal.
Ivanna appeared in an impressive pink dress designed by Esteban Ortiz and before 9:00 at night, she was crowned by José Ángel Tostado, director of the Municipal Institute of Culture and by Margarito Cuéllar, winner of the Clemencia Isaura Poetry Prize. .
Also, in the show, the former queens of the Floral Games of 25 and 50 years were honored: Paloma Palacios and Alma Rosa Chío. While the sovereign of the Floral Games of the Mazatlan Carnival 2020, Brianda I, said goodbye to her reign on the verge of tears.
As artist of the night, Edith Márquez came out on stage to delight Mazatlecos with her greatest hits.
