A parade of nearly 200 Mustangs will parade along the boardwalk, bringing together fans of these vehicles from all over the country and even the United States.

MAZATLAN. – Do you like Mustangs? Do you have one? Here’s your chance to check out a few and even show off the one you have in your garage at the 2022 Mustang Festival.

The Mustang Mazatlán club will hold this festival from January 28 to 30 to celebrate its seventh anniversary, with the pure objective of living together and relaxing club members in the midst of the pandemic, but also entertaining Mazatlecos.

The president of the club, Alfonso Álvarez Sánchez, mentioned that this event is held year after year, where the party, the parade of vehicles, exhibitions and the mere coexistence between collectors are mixed.

“Things are going to change a little more due to the pandemic. No one will be able to attend our festival without a mask and without presenting their vaccination certificate. Although the activities are outdoors, we must take care of ourselves to be able to continue in this, ”he declared.

People will come from all over the country, from cities like León, Guanajuato; Saltillo and Torreon, Coahuila; Monterrey, Nuevo Leon; Durango; Tampico, Tamaulipas; San Luis Potosi; Tepic, Nayarit; Mexico City; Toluca, State of Mexico; as well as from Tijuana, Baja California and Los Angeles, California.

When will the parade be?

Everything will start on Friday, January 28 with the welcome party at the Jaiba Pata Salada restaurant, starting at 5:00 p.m., and with an after-party after 11:00 p.m.

On Saturday, the traditional parade of cars will take place along the boardwalk starting at 10:00 a.m., departing from the new Quirino Ordaz avenue, then Avenida del Mar, Paseo Claussen, Olas Altas, Paseo del Centenario, and until reaching the Faro area, where the exhibition will be held totally free until 2:00 p.m.

After that, everyone involved will make a big caravan in their cars to Isla de la Piedra and Isla de Los Chivos.

Cross over to Isla de la Piedra and live the experience more closely, you can live together and take photos in each of the vehicles and your children live an experience that can be experienced every year.
