Mazatlán, Sin.- When calling on society and the different sectors to unify criteria to achieve a balance for the benefit of the port of Mazatlán, Ricardo Velarde Cárdenas, Secretary of Economic Development, Tourism and Fisheries, assured that noise cannot be eradicated from the tourist area.

Through a press release, the municipal official said that the instruction of Mayor Luis Guillermo Benítez Torres is to be facilitators, but also to seek a joint vision on this issue, so that Mazatlán continues to experience economictourist, and real estate growth. 

We cannot eradicate noise completely in the tourist area, because also in the tourist area because there is no noise at all, hey, we are a tourist port that many of the people who visit us also come looking for that type of attractions, for we have to find that balance, “ he said.

He commented that he has already met with the business chambers and they will seek approaches with rental transport, service providers and society to achieve the common good.

The main objective, he added, is to continue promoting the port of Mazatlán in terms of tourism and economics, without affecting citizens.
