Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- The shipping tourists who arrived in Mazatlán aboard the Carnival Panorama cruise ship felt happy and safe at the destination, assured Óscar Pérez Barros.

The Secretary of Tourism in Sinaloa revealed that 850 passengers went down to the city of the 2,790 who arrived aboard the ship, which left an economic spill of 1,600,000 pesos.

” In Mazatlan, it was one of the ports where the cruise passengers spent the most and left delighted. There were 850 shipping tourists who got off the ship; the crew, due to Covid, did not get off, ” he said.

Pérez Barros stressed that once again they showed that, if government and service providers work together, things can be done well.

” To the tourism and transport sector, congratulations, when we propose we can do things well. I am very happy, we have given a sample of how we can work together and we will continue like this, ” he said.

The head of the Sectur confirmed that next Wednesday the Carnival Panorama has rescheduled due to hurricane Nora but will make its second arrival at the destination and it is expected that the arrival intentions of the 49 cruise ships that currently exist can be fulfilled, due to the good experience and they hope that the infections will continue to lower.
