Tirado stressed that these types of events are held with a dual purpose, to rescue traditions and reactivate the economy in the towns, since businessmen from other states are betting on Sinaloa and especially on El Verde, which is positioned in the national bullfighting arena.

“It is that here (in Mazatlán) they are allowed, but it became politicized, it is a sadness, the good thing is that it is being put as an alternative and that is good because the people of the towns are there, they love to see the horses, the Jaripeos, the bulls, we cannot deny and whoever wants to deny part of their culture is denying part of their identity, “he stressed.

The event will take place on Sunday, June 20, at the community’s Plaza de Toros from four in the afternoon to eight at night. The cost will be 350 pesos and the health protocols will be enforced.
