In a coordinated effort with the “Jaguares de la Selva AC” Foundation, the National Tourism Promotion Fund (Fonatur), the Ministry of the Environment and Natural Resources (Semarnat), and the Ministry of the Navy (Semar), these specimens were transferred. rescued in the Yucatan Peninsula and later, trained in the “Sanctuary of the Jaguar Yagul” located in Tlacolula de Matamoros, Oaxaca.

The State President thanked “Jaguares de la Selva AC“, as well as the institutions involved for making him participate in this fact. “Teamwork was essential to achieve this important action.”

It should be noted that the jaguars left this Saturday from the Hangar of the Oaxaca Secretariat of the Navy towards the GATO-Solferino Specialized Unit located in Solferino, Lázaro Cárdenas, Quintana Roo, where they will be reinserted into the wild.
