Authorities will promote the coasts of the Riviera Nayarit to make national tourism fall in love
Villages on the seashore, natural sanctuaries, more than 300 kilometers of virgin coastline, and 23 micro-destinations are some of the tourist attractions that the Government of Nayarit will promote in Mexico and abroad to attract more visitors and gradually achieve economic recovery, after the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Nayarit Secretary of Tourism, Antonio Riojas Meléndez, in an interview with El Heraldo de México, explained that the reactivation has gone hand in hand with the epidemiological traffic light of the Federal Government and the strongest activity is expected at the end of the year.
“Let’s hope that November and December can bring more than 200 thousand tourists to our state, we are expecting that 30% of total number of visitors, will be coming from the international market. Especially from the United States and Canada”, the Secretary said.
