The president of AMPI Mazatlan said that there are 9 thousand properties for vacation rental in the port and about 11 thousand hotel rooms.
Mazatlan, Sin.- “Despite the economic situation in the country, the real estate boom continues in Mazatlan, for this year there are 45 new condo towers are either under construction, or planned throughout the city”, AMPI president Luis Enrique Peraza revealed.
He stated that although there is talk of a recession in Mexico, the situation is different in Mazatlan, and fortunately there have been no negative impacts, since real estate sales and rentals continue normally.
“At the end of December we learned that at least 45 new condominium towers are going to be built in Mazatlan, that tells you that Mazatlan is still the place for investment and with the rehabilitation works of Rafael Buelna and Camarón Sabalo avenues, anybody can tell good things are coming to Mazatlan,” Luis Enrique Peraza continued.
He stressed that with the great demand that the destination is having, it has sold out its whoe capacity, as was the case during the Carnival or for Holy Week (as the level of reservations for Semana Santa already exceeds 70%).
“Vacation rentals are still booming, because Mazatlan is the place that everyone wants to visit, we are talking about more than 9 thousand rooms in condominiums, imagine all the people who can come to occupy those rooms”, Luis Enrique Peraza concluded.
