Carnival Panorama brings over 5 thousand souls to Mazatlan

For the fourth time this year, the Carnival Panorama cruiser arrived in Mazatlan, with 4,506 passengers and 1,433 crew, from Cabo San Lucas.

“15 boats of this type have arrived to Mazatlan during the month of January, with more than 49 thousand passengers on board, generating an economic spill in the order of 3.5 million US dollars”, reported the Secretary of Tourism Óscar Pérez Barros.

He added that last week four cruisers arrived at this port, with more than eleven thousand passengers.

The Carnival Panorama entered the dock the Integral Port Administration (API), at approximately 07:00 hours on Tuesday Jan. 28, and according to its maritime itinerary, it continued at 17:00 hours towards Puerto Vallarta.

The cruise passengers have different options to enjoy in Mazatlan, walking along the Malecon, the Golden Zone, the Historic Center, the Aquarium, visiting the Angela Peralta Theater, the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, the Pino Suarez market and other sites full of culture, history and tradition.

Besides, the passengers can take excursions to places like Isla de la Piedra, El Quelite, La Noria, Copala, Concordia, among other places, and of course enjoy Mazatlan’s tasty gastronomy.
