Mazatlan, Sinaloa.- The Technical Council of the new Mar de Cortés Aquarium met privately to discuss the progress of this project that is considered the best in Latin America, after the meeting, the secretary of Tourism in Sinaloa, Óscar Pérez Barros and the director of Economic Development, Tourism and Fisheries, David González Torrentera, reported that the work takes a considerable delay, because the commitment is that by May 2021 it will be open to the general public.

“We are seeing certain delays in the physical progress of the work, but we are in good time to solve this delays to update them, since it is a very large project for Mazatlan and Sinaloa, and the idea now is to know the status and know the relevant measures to improve the issue of progress that is what left us restless, ”said David González Torrentera.

For his part, the Secretary of Tourism, Óscar Pérez Barros explained that an agreement was reached so that both administrative and technical matters can be on a par with the works, knowing that it is a private-public work and there is a resource of the people placed on the table.
