Apparently a breakthrough was achieved in negotiations with Liberty Media

The Formula One Grand Prix of Mexico could remain another three years (2020, 2021 and 2022) at the Hermanos Rodríguez Autodromo circuit, since the Interamerican Entertainment Corporation (CIE), run by Alejandro Soberón, reached a breakthrough in negotiations with Liberty Media, the company that owns the rights of the Gran Circo.

Resounding success

After 23 years of absence, the highest category of sports motorsport, a pioneer of major sporting events in Mexico, was again played at the legendary Hermanos Rodríguez Autodromo, after signing a five-year contract valid from 2015 to 2019, enough time for that more than a million people from all over the world came to witness the story.

So far, the last four editions of the Grand Prix of Mexico have generated the creation of more than 30 thousand jobs and reached a strong economic impact to exceed the figure of 2,187 million dollars (39,611 million pesos).

For four consecutive years, the Grand Prix of Mexico was positioned as the Best Event of the Year by FIA and FOM, the highest authorities of professional motorsport worldwide, which honored the organization that this year will hold the fifth edition of the October 26 to 28
