Mexicos Federal Consumer Protection Agency “Profeco” unveils a list of 10 brands of tuna that use soy without warning consumers

RECOMMENDATIONS

The Profeco recommended consumers “when buying tuna packaged carefully read the label, review the ingredients on the label to identify if the product contains soy, verify the expiration date and not consume packaging with any alteration and unpleasant texture.”

He also recalled that tuna cans should be kept in places free of moisture and away from high temperatures. As well as if the product is not consumed in its entirety, store it in a clean and refrigerated container.
