The Government of Mexico, issues the following notice:COLD ENVIRONMENT IN A LARGE PART OF THE COUNTRY AND “NORTH” EVENT IN THE COAST OF THE GULF OF MEXICO, EFFECTS GENERATED BY THE COLD FRONT No. 35
For this day, the No. 35 front will extend from the Gulf of Mexico to the southeastern part of the country and will favor strong storms at very strong points with a probability of hail fall in the east and southeast of the national territory. The associated polar air mass , will originate cold to very cold environment with frosts in states of Mesa del Norte, dense fog or fog banks in the center and east of the Mexican Republic, in addition to “North” event on the coasts of Tamaulipas, Veracruz, Tabasco, Oaxaca and Chiapas (Isthmus and Gulf of Tehuantepec). Also, the entrance of humid air of the Pacific Ocean, in combination with the mass of polar air, will create conditions for the fall of snow or sleet in mountainous areas of Sonora, Chihuahua and Coahuila, during this night and early Sunday.Forecast of precipitation for today February 9, 2019:
