Cabo San Lucas.- Today will be held in the Cabo San Lucas marina the first 2018 Los Cabos Christmas Nautical Festival, which will take place between the Breathless hotel and the facilities of “La Terminal de Cabo”, (Wild Cabo), from 12 noon until ten o’clock at night, an event in which around 15 civil associations will participate in the sale of their products for the benefit of various social causes.
This will be a Christmas festival accompanied by music alluding to this season in a family atmosphere in which both locals and visitors can enjoy a fun evening, announced authorities of the Tourism Trust of Los Cabos and the Association of Hotels of Los Cabos, in a press release.
They explained that as a main event from 5 and until 6.30 in the afternoon there will be a Christmas naval parade, in which more than 20 boats of different sizes will make a tour of the Bahiia of Cabo San Lucas, starting at the area known as “Eight Waterfalls”, which will extend along “El Meidano”, ending in their respective docks within the port area of this city.
As the respective call marks, each boat must have been specially decorated with Christmas lights and motifs to be able to take part in the parade, on their return and once they have arrived at their berths, the participating boats will remain shining with their shine. lights and adornments to the delight of the passers-by of the different marinas, this so that their crews move to the Breathless-La Terminal area of Cabo, to enjoy at 7:15 a.m. a Christmas concert that will jointly offer the Youth Orchestra of Los Cabos and the Symphony Orchestra of Alientos de Baja California Sur, with more than 40 musicians on stage, who will perform a Christmas program produced especially for this season;At the end of this concert the award ceremony for the best-decorated boats will be held, in the first three places of each category.
The organizers said that the event will be organized year after year, with the participation of the providers of nautical, hotel and gastronomic services of the port area, as well as the strong support of the different governmental instances, for the enjoyment of the inhabitants of the municipality and of the Visitors, this festival becoming an attractive tourist and leisure, that will come to enrich the entertainment offer in this destination of sun and beach, and from this year, a Christmas destination par excellence.
