Governor Quirino Ordaz Coppel promised that there will be baseball in Mazatlan’s “Teodoro Mariscal” stadium, since its remodeling works are well advanced and almost finished.
“Baseball is going to be played in the “Teodoro Mariscal” stadium, the remodeling works have an important level of progress,” the governor said.
The State President said that the remodeling work will be ready in the coming weeks, prior to the start of the Mexican Pacific League.
“By the end of October, or the beginning of November we will have the stadium finished, people will be able to enjoy their favaorite sport, and they will be impressed, they will be shocked to see a state-of-the-art stadium, as Mazatlan deserves.”
Asked about the preference for baseball of President-elect Andrés Manuel López Obrador, and if he would invite him to Mazatlán, the governor replied that he is going to invite him to the inauguration.
“We have to invite Andrés Manuel López Obrador to the stadium inauguration,” Quirino Ordaz Coppel concluded.
