The port of Mazatlán began the week with the arrival of the Navigator of the Seas cruise ship, as part of its Cabo San Lucas–Mazatlán–Puerto Vallarta route, strengthening the destination’s tourism activity.
On board the ship were 3,886 passengers and 1,260 crew members, who during their stay will be able to explore various iconic landmarks of the port, enjoy local cuisine, shop, and experience the cultural and recreational offerings that characterize Mazatlán.
The presence of international visitors represents a boost to the local economy, benefiting tourism service providers, transportation companies, businesses, restaurants, and artisans, who find in cruise tourism an important source of income.
With this arrival, Mazatlán maintains a steady flow of international tourism by sea, consolidating its position as one of the most important ports for the cruise industry on the Mexican Pacific coast and reaffirming its appeal as a destination for the world’s leading cruise lines.
