Dreams Estrella del Mar Mazatlán Golf & Spa Resort: a luxury beach option for summer vacations

Summer is approaching and vacations are just around the corner. If you still don’t have a plan, you can organize a trip to the beach in the “Pearl of the Pacific.” Among the accommodation options is Dreams Estrella del Mar Mazatlán Golf & Spa Resort, a hotel that opened in April 2024. It is considered a Grand Tourism property and is certified with Four Diamonds by the American Automobile Association (AAA). It offers everything needed for an excellent vacation, allowing guests to relax, escape the city rush, and enjoy its facilities.

Dreams is Hyatt’s first Inclusive Collection property in Mazatlán. It was developed by the architectural firm HKS and is part of the Estrella del Mar complex, which includes a residential area, condominiums, a golf course, and the hotel.

With a family-oriented concept that combines luxury, exclusivity, and privacy, Dreams Estrella del Mar Mazatlán offers 358 ocean-view suites ranging from 33 m², with capacity for one to four guests. Categories include Junior Suite, Junior Suite Swim Out, Master Suite, and Presidential Suite.

The resort has 300 meters of beachfront, three main pools (including an adults-only Preferred Club pool), and specialty restaurants such as Portofino (Italian), Meraki (Mediterranean-Asian), Oceana (seafood), El Patio (Mexican), and World Café (international buffet). It is located within a protected natural area managed by CONANP (National Commission of Protected Natural Areas), where turtle nesting, pelicans, dolphins, and seasonal whale sightings can be observed.

The hotel offers spaces for every member of the family, including Explorer’s Kids Club, a teen area called CoreZone, spa, gym, daily activities available via an app, room service, and many other amenities.

It is also a pet-friendly hotel, allowing small dogs up to 20 kg. Pets are provided with a bowl and bed in the suite, though guests must bring their own food. Pets are also allowed in designated terrace restaurant areas.

To elevate the experience, guests can choose the Preferred Club category, which includes a suite with a terrace jacuzzi, Nespresso-style coffee machine, premium minibar restocked daily, private lounge with snacks, canapés, drinks, and an exclusive bar area.

From arrival, guests are welcomed with warm hospitality, refreshing towels, and a welcome drink. After check-in, guests immediately gain access to all facilities. No wristbands or restaurant reservations are required, and concierge and reception services operate 24 hours a day.

One of the available activities is a bike ride through the complex, which may include a mini golf class or an energy ritual depending on the schedule. There is also a daily themed night for family entertainment.

Another option (at extra cost) is the spa, offering facial and body treatments, massages, and beauty services. Guests can also visit the Turtle Sanctuary with a donation that supports conservation efforts. Private cabanas near the pools can also be rented, offering waiter service for food and drinks.

If you are looking for an all-inclusive beach vacation with unlimited food and beverages, Dreams Estrella del Mar Mazatlán Golf & Spa Resort is a strong option for this summer.
