Mazatlán receives four cruise ships during Christmas Eve and Christmas Day

The port of Mazatlán experienced a surge in tourism on December 24th and 25th, welcoming a total of four cruise ships that brought 16,278 passengers, resulting in an estimated economic impact of 24.7 million pesos for the destination.

On Wednesday, December 24th, the Carnival Panorama and Norwegian Jade cruise ships arrived, carrying 7,529 passengers who engaged in various tourist activities and shopping in the city, generating an estimated economic impact of 11.4 million pesos.

On Thursday, December 25th, Mazatlán received two more cruise ships: the Norwegian Bliss and the Navigator of the Seas, which together brought 8,749 passengers, further boosting tourism during the Christmas season.

These two arrivals on Christmas Day generated an economic impact of 13.3 million pesos, benefiting businesses, tourism service providers, and the local economy, and solidifying Mazatlán’s position as one of the most attractive destinations on the Mexican Pacific coast.

The Municipal Government, led by Mayor Estrella Palacios Domínguez, reiterates its commitment to promoting and supporting tourism for the well-being of Mazatlán residents.
