To support the economy of Sinaloa families this holiday season, the Government of the State of Sinaloa and the Sinaloa State Tax Administration Service (SATES) announced that special discounts on vehicle and tax procedures will be available from December 15th to 17th.

A press release explained that these discounts will be applied in conjunction with existing programs and represent an opportunity for citizens to regularize their obligations with greater benefits, as well as avoid future problems due to not being up-to-date with their paperwork.

These are the December discounts available in Sinaloa, from Monday the 15th to Wednesday the 17th:

75% off fines, fees, and expenses related to the annual renewal of vehicle registration cards and license plate stickers for private and public service vehicles.

75% off fines, fees, and expenses related to the replacement of license plates for private and public service vehicles. 50% off license renewals.

50% off change of ownership.

50% off new license plates.

These discounts are in addition to the “Get Up to Date” program, which will remain in effect until December 31. This program allows owners of 2018 and older model vehicles with outstanding balances of up to 40,000 pesos to become current with a single payment of 6,000 pesos, which includes the registration sticker and license plate replacement.

Where can payments be made?

During the holiday period from December 18 to January 2, only the Administrative Units will remain open, operating with on-call staff to provide essential services to citizens who need to complete procedures during this time.

With these discounts, SATES encourages you to take advantage of these opportunities and complete your paperwork promptly, prioritizing vehicle registration and taking advantage of the discounts available at the end of the year.
