A spectacular display of power, color, and automotive nostalgia turned Mazatlán’s boardwalk into a vibrant parade this Saturday afternoon as the 2025 Truck Week festivities reached their peak. The “Fierro pa’ Maza” (Steel for Mazatlán) motorized caravan wound its way along Avenida del Mar from Quirino Ordaz Coppel Avenue to the tourist heart of the port in Olas Altas, drawing hundreds of spectators and leaving a lasting impression.

Leading the charge was Hersa Corporativo, whose family members, advisors, and esteemed guests, including María José Salazar and Elisa Beristain, kicked off the parade aboard an impressive pickup truck. The charismatic duo received thunderous applause from the audience as they set the tone for what was to come.

The parade showcased a dazzling array of vehicles, ranging from restored 1960s classics to sleek 2025 models straight from the dealership. Some stood out for their unique modifications, including giant teddy bears in passenger seats, hand-painted bodies, high-powered sound systems, and proudly waving Mexican flags in the coastal breeze.

As the trucks rolled by, accompanied by Municipal Traffic and National Guard personnel, the Mazatlán sky was painted with warm tones at sunset, creating a truly unforgettable atmosphere. Hundreds of residents and tourists lined the sidewalks early to enjoy the spectacle, which was part of the Truck Week activities organized by the Mazatlán Vuelve tourism agency.

The events began on Friday, May 30, and will culminate this Sunday, June 1, with exhibitions, concerts, and other activities. To cap off Saturday night, La Sonora Dinamita and Banda La Nueva Estrella took to the stage at the official event venue for a thrilling performance of music, dancing, and recognition.

As the evening ended, special recognitions were awarded to Hersa Corporativo for its commitment to the community and promotion of events that strengthen Mazatlán’s identity and tourism. The Truck Week 2025 festivities have undoubtedly cemented their place in the hearts of locals and visitors alike, showcasing the city’s vibrant spirit and passion for trucks.
