Guadalupe del Carmen Dobler López was a dermatology specialist who lived in Mazatlán, Sinaloa. On December 15, her disappearance and that of six other people were reported. It is unknown if this and the cases of the other victims are related.
Two days ago, on December 21, a decomposing body was found on José Luis “Peche” Ricey Avenue. The identity of the body was unknown. However, the doctor’s daughter confirmed that it was Lupita Dobler.
“With deep sorrow we want to inform you that the search for my mother, Dr. Lupita Dobler, has come to an end. With the help of God and guided by Our Lord Father, she is now in heaven next to her parents and loved ones that she loved so much,” wrote Alondra Dobler on her Facebook profile.
“They took from us an excellent mother, an extraordinary being, an honest, noble, hard-working person, with a high sense of responsibility and an enormous commitment to the society that she served for many years through her specialty, which was dermatology; without a doubt she leaves a huge void and a pain that is difficult to overcome, but we trust that her memory, her work in life and her love of God will help us learn to cope with this loss,” she wrote. She also thanked all the people who helped locate Lupita Dobler.
Since the search file for this doctor was released, it was reported that Lupita Dobler had been deprived of her freedom when she left home, as she was put in a white Hyundai Tucson van with license plates PXH507B.
Lupita Dobler had been working as a dermatologist at the Dermis Clinic for more than 30 years, according to a publication on the same site.
