As a result of the various violent events that occurred in Sinaloa, different transport companies that travel the Concordia-Mazatlán route and surrounding areas decided to stop the runs as a precaution.
Through social networks, the same bus operators of the red and green lines of Concordia, as well as Aguacaliente and El Roble, communicated that as a precaution and of their own free will they would be taking the measure of not exposing themselves, neither the drivers nor their passengers.
In the same notices that circulated, they mentioned that if the certainty of security for the entire entity is restored, they will resume activities.
It was reported that the last passenger bus that left Mazatlán for Concordia was at 11 in the morning as a precautionary measure.
The mayor of Aguacaliente de Gárate, Raul Castañeda, confirmed the suspension of red trucks, the last departure was at 2:30 in the afternoon from Mazatlán.
He said that this decision was made due to rumors of road closures and to avoid putting passengers at risk.
Meanwhile, the trips to the municipalities of Rosario and Escuinapa, by lines such as Autobuses Unidos de Sinaloa, continue, although intermittently.
