Culiacán wakes up with clashes between armed groups and the National Guard

Culiacán woke up on Monday, September 9th, with clashes between armed groups and members of the National Guard

Culiacán woke up again with clashes between armed groups and the Mexican Army in the La Campiña neighborhood, so Rubén Rocha, governor of the state, announced the suspension of classes in the sector.

He said that a coordinated operation was carried out and that two civilian vehicles that were abandoned by the aggressors were seized.

On social networks, numerous videos of armed people on foot and in vehicles circulate through the streets of the city, so they call to stay at home.

The State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) of Sinaloa called on people who were victims of vehicle theft to file a complaint so that the case could be addressed, with which they must bring various documents to the authorities.

The governor of Sinaloa Ruben Rocha Moya pointed out that a dozen vehicles were stolen from their owners.

“The documents that must be presented are: current official identification, copy of the vehicle’s invoice, copy of the payment receipt, vehicle history or some document showing the license plate that it carried and insurance policy if it has one,” is part of what was reported by the authorities.
