The Municipal Traffic Subdirectorate announced the closure of Las Torres Avenue with Manuel J. Clouthier Avenue starting on Thursday, August 8.
Commander Juan Sergio Camacho Torres, Municipal Traffic Subdirector, explained that due to the works to connect the storm drain located on De las Torres Avenue, at Infonavit Conchi, the intersection of the aforementioned road artery with Manuel J. Clouthier will be closed to traffic.
He reported that the road closure will take place on De las Torres Avenue starting next Thursday, August 8, in the north-south lane, where work is currently being done to introduce the storm drain pipe and that is why traffic has currently been diverted to the next lane.
He said that the works are expected to last approximately four weeks, so he asked drivers to be extremely cautious and patient when traveling through that area, because traffic will be limited.
Camacho Torres indicated that the alternative routes to avoid crowds and traffic congestion will be via De las Torres Avenue towards Infonavit Conchi or the Ricardo Flores Magón neighborhood.
