The Carnival Firenze cruise ship arrived in Mazatlán with more than 5,700 travelers.

Sectur Sinaloa reported that the vessel made its triumphant entry from the coast of Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, before setting sail for its next destination: Cabo San Lucas.

The port of Mazatlán, known as the Pearl of the Pacific, was adorned this morning to welcome the majestic Carnival Firenze cruise ship, an impressive vessel carrying over 5,700 travelers.

According to Ricardo Velarde Cárdenas, the head of the Sinaloa Tourism Secretariat (Sectur), the imposing ship made its triumphant entry at 08:45 hours, coming from the coast of Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco. It brought along 4,282 passengers and a crew of 1,424 people. As per the established maritime itinerary, the ship will continue its exciting journey at 18:00 hours when it departs for its next destination: Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur.

In line with the tradition among avid cruisers, the stay in the port offers a unique opportunity to explore and enjoy the charms that the city and its surrounding communities offer. In addition to delighting in the local wonders, many choose to take excursions to the picturesque Señorial Towns of El Quelite, Concordia, and Copala, among other destinations.

The state official highlighted that during April, Mazatlán has been privileged with the arrival of a total of 11 cruise ships that have brought more than 49,000 visitors, consolidating its position as an internationally renowned maritime destination.
