MAZATLÁN. – An excellent hotel occupancy is recorded these days of the International Carnival of Mazatlán 2024, especially in the hotels located on Del Mar avenue, which reach a total occupancy. However, as of today a decrease in demand is anticipated.
The president of the Tres Islas Hotel Association, José Ramón Manguart Sánchez, pointed out that since Friday, all the lodging establishments registered occupancy figures between 90 and 95 percent, marking the peak point that the destination lives, wrapped at the same time by the celebration of the Mazatlan Carnival.

The leader indicated that hotel occupancy dropped to 70 percent this Monday, as many visitors from different states of the country returned to their places of origin.
However, he stressed that, as some leave, others arrive, maintaining a constant behavior compared to the numbers of 2023, where occupancies ranged between 95 and 100 percent during the Carnival.
The Carnival festivities have always been outstanding for Mazatlán, especially with regard to hotel occupancy, and the current moment that the city is experiencing is crucial. In addition, a good weekend is expected with the visit of Chivas to the city in the Liga MX.
