The Spring Equinox ritual is performed in Las Labradas; in addition to promoting rural tourism, it seeks to have experiences of spiritual renewal
MAZATLÁN.- Let’s go! The National Institute of Anthropology and History (INAH) has already announced the celebration of the Spring Equinox at the archaeological site of Las Labradas, in its 2024 edition this March 21.
Every year, this ritual promotes rural tourism and experiences through rituals of spiritual renewal, in which the participants thank Mother Earth and welcome a new cycle and a new season: Spring.
What activities will there be at the Spring Equinox in Las Labradas?
Las Labradas will have a perfectly covered gastronomic and artisan corridor, a shaded rest area with 200 chairs available, 16 bathrooms for visitors, preventive medical services, relaxing therapeutic massages, meditation circles, personal and group spiritual cleansings, guided tours by INAH archaeologists, book presentation and master lectures.
The recreational, cultural and artistic activities will start from 8:00 in the morning, where there will be book presentation, dances and rituals, the “sun take”, as well as the guided tour of the area and visitors will be able to buy food in the gastronomic corridor that the inhabitants of La Chicayota will place in the community near Las Labradas.
