The two main criminal organizations maintain a bloody dispute for control of Los Altos de Jalisco
Through a series of flyers with handwritten messages, the Sinaloa Cartel ratified its presence in Los Altos de Jalisco and launched a threat against Governor Enrique Alfaro.
The texts were released on the night of October 25 in the municipality of Lagos de Moreno and, according to information reported by local media, they revealed the list of police officers who would be on the payroll of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG).
Photographs of these flyers shared by Public Domain exposed the content of the “bulletins” addressed to the inhabitants of Lagos de Moreno, the state president and the Municipal Police.
“People of Lagos de Moreno, the problem is not with you, but with the garbage indicated below,” can be read at the beginning of the message.
Immediately, the authors of the text demanded that Governor Alfaro Ramírez stop sending state police to the municipalities of Teocaltiche and Encarnación de Díaz, where the Sinaloa Cartel has intensified its confrontations against the CJNG.
“It is more than obvious that you want to clear the way for the whores of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel, let them fight alone. We have been there for more than 20 years and they have never been able to defeat us,” the statement says.
According to what was included in the statement of the alleged members of the Sinaloa Cartel, the deployment of state and federal authorities would be especially focused on stopping the advance of this criminal group in the region.
“They know that we don’t mess with the government […] That’s why they send them to us, you think it wouldn’t be easy for us to F..ked up their your 6 trucks. Yes, we can and we have f..ked more than 20 of them. CJNG (sic.)”, it is stated in the section addressed to Governor Alfaro.
Next, the text addresses the Lagos de Moreno Police to urge them to “not be intimidated” by the four-letter cartel.
Likewise, they stated that Commander Isaías Domínguez Ortiz, former commissioner of the Guadalajara Police, had threatened municipal agents.
In the last part of the document, the Sinaloa Cartel attached a list of the police officers that the CJNG would have on its side. Apparently, each municipal agent of the “Jaguares” motorized squad of Zapopan would receive 2,500 pesos from the CJNG.
According to the list released by the CDS, there would be 20 elements of this corporation included in the payments, so the organization of Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes, alias “El Mencho”, would allocate a sum of 50 thousand pesos to the institution.
Despite the details included in the letter, the CDS did not specify the frequency with which these amounts would be delivered to the referred officers.
