With the “Cultura en tu casa y tu comunidad” program, during the autumn-winter festival the rural communities of La Noria, El Recodo and Isla de la Piedra will receive dancers and musicians.

With the participation of 1,113 national and international artists and 58 events, this morning the portfolio of shows for the Mazatlan Cultural Festival 2023 was announced, which promises to surprise and amaze tourists and locals from October 7 to December 17.

The Festival will open the curtain on October 7 with the Misa Azteca concert, and on the 13th and 14th of the same month there will be the presentation of Le Villi by the Camerata Mazatlán, both at the Angela Peralta Theater, as well as other events for this month, while for November 1, an alleyway and tour of the TAP is being prepared, where the recently deceased artist from Mazatlan, António López Sáenz, will also be honored.

In a press conference, Raúl Rico, director of CULTURA Mazatlán, highlighted that this 2023 marks the 30th anniversary of the history that the Mazatlán Cultural Festival celebrates, so to the delight of locals and tourists there will be events both at the TAP, as well as in galleries, squares, public places, religious venues, schools, neighborhoods and rural communities, some of which will be free and others with a cost of between 150 and 500 pesos.

“There is a night of tango, a world of fantasy in the Casa Hass and then we have book presentations, and we have a series of exhibitions that are worthwhile, some are from the Mexican plastic salon, some are from a group of Mazatlan artists,” he commented.

The cultural festival will not only be held in the municipal seat, since with the Culture in your home and your community program, during the autumn-winter festival the rural communities of La Noria, El Recodo and Isla de la Piedra will receive dancers and musicians, mostly artists from the Municipal Center for the Arts in one edition of the program.

Giving continuity to the Sinaloa Cultural Festival, the event in Mazatlán will end until December 17 with the Christmas Gala, where throughout the three months there will be various events with expressions of art balanced between concerts, literature. Operas, dance, theater and more.
