The objective of the Tourist Attention and Protection Center is to strengthen attention to tourists

MAZATLÁN.- In order to strengthen the attention to tourists in view of the proximity of the summer vacation period, the Tourist Attention and Protection Center (CAPTA) will recruit 10 people who will become tourist assistants.

CAPTA’s director, Donovan Quiñones Castro, reported that they are seeking to strengthen their staff for the upcoming summer vacations and that they will now have a total of 20 people.

“Mayor Edgar González has approved certain places for the attention center, this with the purpose of strengthening this center and improving the conditions of attention and management of the address for this vacation period that is already less than a month away,” he said.

The official specified that the new personnel will help to relieve the amount of work that CAPTA already had.

Donovan Quiñones also commented that they are looking to reactivate the airport module.

These newly hired staff will have to meet a certain profile, among the requirements is having basic knowledge of English.

In two weeks, the tourist assistants would be ready, who are currently in the recruitment process, the second stage are the exams, and the third stage is the admission of personnel, in addition to training, since they are going to specialize in roads, civil protection and first aid to deal with any incident in tourists.
